Prime Minister Naftali Bennett held an urgent security assessment this evening (Tuesday).
The sequence of events in the attack that took place this evening in Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan was presented, and recommendations were made for immediate operational measures to be taken by the security forces.
The discussion was attended by the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Public Security, the IDF Chief of Staff, the head of the ISA, the Commissioner of Police, the head of the National Security Council, the military secretary, the head of the IDF Intelligence department, the head of the Ministry of Defense's Operations Department, and other officials.
Tomorrow (Wednesday), the Prime Minister will convene the Ministerial Committee on National Security Affairs (Political-Security Cabinet) in the afternoon.
