The Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi David Lau, commented on the wave of terrorist attacks over the past few days.

"The people of Israel have recently been subjected to savage and murderous terrorist attacks. This is the time when we must take up the route of our ancestors and pound upon the gates of heaven in prayers to God to say we have had enough of our troubles."

"I call on the entire public to add a chapter of Psalms after every prayer service, and after that the prayer Our Brothers, the Whole House of Israel (A prayer calling for the salvation of Jews worldwide). We will pray and long for God to say enough of our troubles and we will no longer see these horrible sights," said Rabbi Lau.
