Likud MK Yariv Levin blasted the Supreme Court's decision regarding Prof. Oded Goldreich, in which it ordered that he be given the Israel Prize against the wishes of the Minister of Education:
'There is no country in the world that would have given its most important prize to a person who calls for a boycott against it. There is no court in the world that would have taken over the powers of the Minister of Education in violation of the law, and made such a decision in its place,' said Levin.
MK Levin added, “The reckless ruling of the High Court, while trampling the rule of law and sound administration, and while giving a reward and encouragement to the BDS people and their supporters, is another link in the chain of a deteriorating justice system that has lost all direction.'
