The Supreme Court of Israel has ordered Minister of Education Yifat Shasha-Bitton to award the (Hebrew year) 5781 Israel Prize in the field of mathematics and computer science research to Prof. Oded Goldreich.
Last year, Shasha-Bitton decided to reject the award committee's recommendation, due to Prof. Goldreich's support for the boycott of Ariel University.
