Umm al-Fahm city councilman Iyad Haj Farah said this morning in an interview with Kalman Liebskind and Assaf Lieberman on Kan News: 'We have been constantly warning about the police's ineffectiveness in the matter of [illegal] weapons.
'Unfortunately the police are not doing their job, so a handful of people allow themselves to run amok and accumulate quantities of weapons. We have a Wild West here and nobody cares.'
When asked if he is calling upon the police to go house to house searching for weapons in Umm al-Fahm, Farah replied: 'Yes, start at my house.'
