MK Nir Barkat (Likud) commented on the deadly shooting attack in Hadera in which two Israelis were killed.
"The images from the murderous attack in Hadera are shocking. I share the grief of the families of those killed and together with all the people of Israel pray for the healing of the wounded. I call on licensed civilians to carry their weapons and immediately neutralize any terrorist. Police cannot protect the country alone, and so the citizens must shoulder the burden of defense as well."
"The government must change policy and instead of preventing firearms licensing, allow veterans of combat units to immediately receive a license to possess weapons, in order to neutralize any attack as quickly as possible. Every heinous terrorist who tries to murder Jews should know he carries his life in his hands," Barkat said.
