The Joint List has denounced the planned establishment of new towns in the Negev.
"The government decision is a continuation of the project of expropriation of the Arab residents of the Negev by the right-wing government. On the one hand the government expels the Arab residents of the Negev and destroys their settlements and on the other decides to establish new settlements to bring new Jewish residents to the Negev."
