Ahead of the "Negev Summit" between Israeli and Bedouin representatives slated to get under way later today, Meretz Minister Tamar Zandberg called for "dialogue with the Palestinian Authority" during an interview with Galei Tzahal.
"I think that an agreement with the Palestinians, or at least dialogue with them, is essential not only for the Middle East, but also for Israel. While it's true that the current government has agreed not to make steps in this direction, I can tell the rightist elements of the coalition that if we can mediate between Russia and Ukraine and host a summit such as this one, it is [definitely] possible to at least engage in talks with the PA," she said.
