Education Minister Yifat Shasha Bitton announced that Oded Kotler will receive the Israel Prize this year in the field of theater.
"I informed Oded Kotler a few minutes ago of the committee's decision to award him the Israel Prize in the field of theater and dance for the [Hebrew] year 5782."
"I thanked Oded for his extensive work in the theater over the years as an actor, director, playwright, and artistic director, and for his great contribution to the development of Israeli theater," the minister wrote on Twitter.
