The Minister of the Interior, Ayelet Shaked, and the Minister of Housing and Construction will bring to approval this Sunday a final government decision for the establishment of five new towns, "Arad region towns."
The establishment of the new communities is a key stage in the development of the Negev basin, and they are of national importance within the vicinity of the metropolis of Be'er Sheva and the city of Arad.
In addition, the government will discuss its first-stage approval of 5 additional towns along the Be'er Sheva-Dimona road (Route 25).
