The mayor of Be'er Sheva, Rubik Danilovich, on Tuesday night expressed his condolences following the terrorist attack in the city, noting that he instructed the education system to begin the school day on Wednesday with a discussion about the tragic incident. He added that security near educational institutions would be stepped up by security forces.
"We had a difficult day and tomorrow we will bury those murdered in the heinous attack. After a tour of the scene, I talked until a few minutes ago with all the families of the murdered and expressed my condolences on behalf of all residents of the city. The social workers are accompanying them closely. I also talked to the families of the injuries who are hospitalized at Soroka Hospital and wished them a speedy recovery," Danilovich wrote on his Facebook page.
