Sagi Karni, Israel's ambassador to Singapore, responded in an interview with Galei Zahal to Singapore's announcement that it intends to open an embassy in Israel for the first time since the establishment of relations in 1965.
"The embassy will be established in Tel Aviv. We hope that one day it will move to Jerusalem. There is potential to develop relations between the countries. Singapore is a financial center where we see the implementation of many technologies from Israel. Today there are at least 25 Israeli cyber companies in Singapore," Karni said.
