At least four people were killed this morning in Belgium when a car slammed into a group of people at a carnival in the southern town of Strépy-Bracquegnies, about 30 miles south of Brussels. Another 12 individuals were seriously injured, and about 20 were lightly wounded in the incident.

“A car drove from the back at high speed. And we have a few dozen injured and unfortunately several people who are killed,” Mayor Jacques Gobert told RTBF radio.
