The Director General of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, discussed the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases during an interview with Reshet Bet Radio.
"I hope and expect this rise in infections not to [get out of hand]. Our [greatest] concern is the weakening of the vaccine and therefore the older population is called on to receive [the fourth doze]," he said.
