Peru's top court on Thursday reinstated a controversial pardon for former President Alberto Fujimori, who was imprisoned for human rights violations, Reuters reported.
Fujimori, 83, was initially pardoned in 2017 after 10 years in jail, a decision that was overturned a few months later after the intervention of an international court on the grounds that it had been irregular.
