NBA: Avdija scores 19 points, but Washington loses to Denver

Israeli basketball player Deni Avdija’s team, the Washington Wizards, lost to the Denver Nuggets, 127-109, on Wednesday night.

Avdija played 28:10 minutes and led the way for Washington with 19 points. Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic scored 29 for Denver.
