Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Russian citizens via a video recording in Russian, telling them the war in Ukraine would leave their country poor, isolated and excluded from the world community.
"Those of you who have access to accurate information from the conflict already know how the campaign will end for your country: in exclusion, poverty, [decades of] isolation, and an oppressive regime that treats its own citizens just like the occupiers are treating the people of Ukraine. What happens next depends on you," stated Zelenskyy.
