Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman sought to dampen expectations for a quick solution to the food-prices crisis in Israel, telling Kan News today that there are no immediate solutions.
"There's no hocus-pocus," Liberman said. "Bringing down the price of food isn't going to happen from one day to the next. The reforms in the agricultural sector are not going to bring down the government," he added. "We have passed other contentious pieces of legislation in the past. In order to make a profit, farmers are going to have to adapt."
