MK Avi Maoz responded to Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked's statement that refugees who have relatives in Israel will be excluded from the number of refugees Israel will accept and be allowed to enter beyond the established quotas.
"With such a government, whose entire purpose is to detach the State of Israel from its Jewish identity, the State of Israel should absorb only the Jewish refugees. I fear that the government is taking advantage of the situation in order to advance its progressive policy, and thus make the State of Israel a 'state of all its citizens.' Maoz added.
