Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked welcomed the passage of the Citizenship Law in its second and third readings.
"As I promised, the Citizenship Law was approved this evening at a good and successful time in the Knesset plenum. It is a first-rate Zionist, national and security law that could not be abandoned solely due to petty politics. I thank all the Knesset members who took responsibility and voted in favor of the law. "
