The Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Justice have drafted a memorandum of law to regulate the upcoming celebration on Mount Meron.

Kan News reported on Thursday that a stay at the site during the days of the Hilula celebration will require a special permit, and those who are in the complex without a permit will be fined NIS 500.

The law memorandum further stipulates that the number of permits will be limited and that the Minister of Religious Affairs will issue only one permit for a lighting event in Meron.
