Michal Herzog, the wife of President Isaac Herzog, visited the library of the Presidential Palace accompanied by the wife of the President of Turkey, Amin Erdogan.
During the visit, the President's wife donated Hebrew books to the Hebrew Bookshelf of the National Library of Turkey, including poetry and prose books by prominent writers and poets in Israeli literature and poetry: Shai Agnon, Leah Goldberg, David Grossman and more.
In addition, the President's wife gave the library a Hebrew Bible and a Koran translated into Hebrew. The President of Turkey gave the President's wife a book of Turkish poems translated into Hebrew.
