The Ministry of Health on Wednesday morning published the results of a survey on the satisfaction level of patients in emergency rooms in Israeli hospitals. The hospitals at the top of the list were Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital, Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva and Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem. On the flip side, Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Wolfson Hospital in Holon, Assaf Harofeh Hospital and Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem were ranked in the lowest spots on the list.

Two-thirds of the patients rated their overall satisfaction with the treatment they received at the emergency room with scores of 8-10, and most were willing to recommend the emergency room they visited. The survey was conducted between May and November 2021, during which close to 8,000 patients in 29 different hospitals who visited an emergency room across the country and were released or transferred to wards were surveyed.
