Israel on Monday returned to the Palestinian Authority the body of a 16-year-old terrorist who stabbed and wounded two Border Police fighters in the Old City of Jerusalem in November, Galei Tzahal (IDF Radio) reported.
The report noted that the cabinet's policy is not to return the bodies of terrorists, even those who are not part of a terrorist organization. However, the cabinet decision contains a small loophole for "exceptional cases" that Defense Minister Benny Gantz has increasingly used in the past year.
