Israel's First Lady, Michal Herzog, was hosted today at the social soccer tournament that connects the children of different neighborhoods of Jerusalem.
The "Neighborhood League" established by the Hapoel Jerusalem team brings to one field no less than 700 children who are united by the sport, from Efrat to Sheikh Jarrah, and from every other part of the city's social spectrum.
Michal Herzog said: "I strongly believe in the power of sports to connect people from different backgrounds, and it is so gratifying to see boys and girls from around the city playing together on the same field."
