The city council of Mariupol, Ukraine announced a second attempt to evacuate civilians will take place during a temporary ceasefire from 10an till 9pm tonight.
According to reports, residents will be transported by bus along a safe corridor under the auspices of the Red Cross.
A previous attempt was stopped short when Russia was accused of continuing to shell the area.
