MK Ofir Sofer (Religious Zionism) called on the government to establish a special call center to handle inquiries from the thousands of Jews who are stuck in Ukraine and wish to emigrate to Israel.
"The State of Israel has not yet begun to act, despite the need to absorb tens of thousands of Jews. A call center must be established, under the direction of the IDF's Home Front Command, to respond to inquiries from Jews stranded at the borders, aid in extracting Jews from Ukraine, and arrange their immigration to Israel as soon as possible."
