Near-drowning leaves 28-year-old in serious condition

A 28-year-old resident of the southern city of Ashdod on Saturday nearly drowned in a private pool in the western Galilee.

The young man was brought to the Galilee Medical Center's ICU and is in serious condition, unconscious and on a respirator.
