Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Wolf, the rabbi of Kherson, who was occupied by the Russians, speaks of the dire situation in the city.
"The city was 100 percent occupied by the Russians, and hundreds of armored vehicles and tanks entered the city center," he said.
He also called on the residents of the city, "Do not leave your houses until the picture is clear. There are thousands of Jews in the district itself. There are hundreds of families in the city itself. There are also some Israelis in the city. We stocked up, bought large quantities of food. They are sitting at home and have something to eat for the next few days. Hopefully this will end soon because there is currently no supply to the city."
