The commander of the Home Front Command, Major General Ori Gordin, arrived on a tour of Beit El accompanied by the head of the council, Shai Alon, and was impressed by the archeological sites in the locality.
"Along with the day-to-day preoccupation with security matters with the relevant parties, it is important for us to maintain fruitful cooperation with the Home Front Command, which is designed to ensure that we are prepared to provide the best response to residents in times of emergency. During Guardian of the Walls, we saw that the front is also in the rear and how important this cooperation is. We are pleased to host the commander of the Home Front Command, Major General Ori Gordin, here in Beit El and to find him attentive and ready to work with us and to express the professionalism of the people under his command as needed," said Alon.
