The Yad Vashem Museum issued a statement following the Russian attack in which the memorial site for the victims of the Babyn Yar massacre was damaged.
"We strongly condemn the Russian attack that led to the harm done to innocent people and to the damaging of the Babyn Yar massacre memorial. The international community is called upon to take joint steps to preserve both the lives of civilians and the historical sites that commemorate the Holocaust."
