Alexander Konstantinovsky, a friend of the late Roman Brodsky who was traveling in a convoy of vehicles trying to escape from Kyiv, recounted the incident in an interview with Galei Tzahal.
"We advanced toward Moldova, we saw in the news that there was a green light for the people of Kyiv to leave so we took our luggage and set off. They started firing at us, we hit the gas. They fired 10 bullets into the right door of the vehicle I was in, the one sitting next to me was miraculously not killed."
