The Histadrut reacted to the rise in fuel prices and attacked the government.

"The Israeli government is taking money right out of our pockets. The minimum wage is going down- but fuel is rising. While electricity, food and housing prices are rising, we are announcing another rise in fuel prices. At the same time, the Israeli government is lowering the minimum wage, not allowing Israeli citizens to cope with rising prices. Only raising the minimum wage to NIS 7,000 will help Israeli citizens meet costs this month, " it was reported.
