A rabies-infected jackal was found in the settlement of Mitzpe Abirim in the Western Galilee.
The Ministry of Health asks anyone who has been in contact or that the animals in its possession came into contact in the area of the incident with a jackal or a stray animal to contact the Health Bureau to consider the need for preventive treatment against rabies.
