The Security Council is expected to convene today to discuss a resolution drafted by the United States, Britain and France in response to the Russian offensive in Ukraine.
The proposal states that the Security Council most strongly condemns Russian aggression against Ukraine.
It is estimated that Russia, which holds the presidency of the council, will veto the decision.
