Deborah Leah Lebenhertz, a Chabad emissary to Kyiv, spoke about the difficult hours following Russia's launching a war against Ukraine.
"The scariest thing is the uncertainty. In Israel there is an alarm and you know where to go and what happened. Here you first hear explosions, then a siren - and quiet, you do not know what happened. There are no shelters, there are metro stations that can be used for that but they are not equipped for long stays," she told Kan News.
