The World Mizrahi movement is working to host Jews who left Ukraine for Poland this coming Shabbat.

Rabbi Doron Perez, chairman of World Mizrahi, said that "in the last few hours we have been in contact with our representatives in Ukraine and we understand that there are many Jews who are making their way west. Mizrahi as a global movement and out of mutual guarantee of the people of Israel, we turned to the Chief Rabbi of Poland, Mordechai Schudrich, and to the heads of communities that have already begun preparations and together with them we are preparing for the absorption of Jews this coming Shabbat."

"In the coming hours, we will connect the communities from which Jewish citizens of Ukraine are being evacuated to the Jewish communities in neighboring countries, and on the eve of Purim, the global Mizrahi movement is fulfilling the de facto commandment of 'every Jew looked after the well-being of his fellow,'" Rabbi Perez added.
