Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu attacked the Bennett-Lapid government following thr decision to appoint MK Zoabi to lead Israel's diplomatic mission in Shanghai China.
"Bennett and Lapid continue to sell the elimination of Zionism in favor of political survival. Their decision to appoint MK Zoabi to the consulate in China is a scandal. It is not possible for someone who represents Israel in one of the most important powers in the world to be someone who does not recognize Israel as a Jewish state and opposes our national anthem. I demand that the government cancel the appointment today."
