Steven Pifer, a former US ambassador to Ukraine, referred in an interview with Galei Tzahal to the possibility that Russia would invade Ukraine.
"I still believe that the Ukrainian army is very determined to fight. Moreover, civilians are arming themselves. We will know within days or weeks what the Russians are going to do, because they can not hold a military force in that large in check over an extended period of time," he said.
