Likud MK Mii Regev has blasted the gvernment for its appointment of Meretz MK Ghaida Rinawie Zoabi as consul general to Shanghai.
"What a disgrace - now they're appointing terrorist supporters to head consulates! And how will she represent Israel? As an occupying power? As a state of all its citizens? Or perhaps as the national home of the Palestinian people?
"And all this, solely to bolster a coalition that is disintegrating as we speak, and to free up some space via the Norwegian law," she added.
