The Corona C ward in Soroka has closed and there is a trend of decline in the extent of the coronavirus morbidity and the number of hospitalized patients.

At the hospital, 56 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 21 of them in serious condition, as well as 4 patients who are on life support.

Dr. Shlomi Kodesh, director of Soroka said: “Due to a decrease in the number of those hospitalized, one of the five corona wards operated in the last wave was closed. The decrease is noticeable in all the corona complexes, except in the corona intensive care unit since those hospitalized there are more complex. The declining trend is also reflected in a significant decrease in workers with the coronavirus and workers in isolation. "
