Minister of Strategic Planning Eli Avidar announced his resignation from the government and his return to the Knesset.
"This resignation comes at least three months too late, from the moment the appointment as intelligence minister became irrelevant," Avidar said at the news conference."My resignation today does not surprise anyone. Government policy has made my stay in government unbearable."
