Dozens of supervisors and educators from the directorate of society and youth in the Jerusalem district held an introductory tour of Binyamin hilltops yesterday and came to an open meeting with the hilltop youth.
The meeting of the educators with the youth, initiated by the Binyamin Community Center, took place in order to enable an open dialogue with the youth that moves past social stigma and the way the youth are portrayed in media reports.
Israel Prize winner Miriam Peretz, who also participated in the tour, was moved by the youth's dedication and wanted to express her appreciation: "The people of Israel need more people like you with ideology, dedication and love of the land to fight for the soil of our homeland," Peretz told the youths she met at Givat Ramat Migron.
