The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office (Criminal Affairs) today filed an indictment in the city district court against Muhammad Al-Adwin, 21, a resident of Jerusalem, after shooting at a residence and injuring three family members.
According to the indictment, as part of a dispute between families, a meeting was held at one of the families' homes for a reconciliation between the parties, in which it was decided that the defendant would not approach the other family's home. Later in the evening the accused arrived at the scene and started firing in the direction of the family members, while shouting that he was not allowed to approach the house. As a result of the defendant's actions, three members of the family suffered gunshot wounds and they needed medical attention.
The indictment attributes to the defendant the commission of offenses of carrying a weapon, aggravated intentional assault and firing from a firearm.
Simultaneously with the indictment, a request for detention was filed against the defendant until the end of the legal proceedings against him
