The Department for Investigation of Police Officers has decided to close the investigation against the police officers suspected of involvement in the death of the late Ahmad Hijazi, who died in a shootout between policemen and masked men in the city of Tamra approximately a year ago.
At the same time, it was decided to transfer the findings of the investigation carried out by DIP investigators to the Israel Police and the commander of the Northern District, in the hopes of learning from the incident.
