The Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs has approved MK Idit Silman's (Yamina) proposal to recognize paramedics as a formal profession.
"After more than three decades of paramedics staffing the pre-hospital intensive care unit, it's time to recognize them as a genuine profession," Silman said.
