"The cosmetic changes made to the conversion law do not change the fact that the only reason Minister Kahana wants to allow city rabbis to convert is so that Rabbi David Stav and the conversion tribunal supported by reformist associations can convert wholesale. This is madness that will lead to assimilation and a spiritual holocaust against the people of Israel and must be stopped. The fact that the Reform Rabbi MK Gilad Kariv (Labor) welcomes the law says it all. "
