A Chinese Navy ship shined a "military grade" laser towards an Australian warplane, Australia's Defense Ministry said.
In a statement, the Ministry said, "Acts like this have the potential to endanger lives. We strongly condemn unprofessional and unsafe military conduct."
Chinese authorities have not issued comment, BBC said.
