Arnon Bar-David, chairman of the General Organization of Workers in Israel, commented tonight that "No one in Israel will be damaged by raising the minimum wage, nor will the economy be influenced. We have stopped all attempts at legislation against employees, and continue to be at the forefront of the decision-making process for Israel's labor unions."
