Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is holding a discussion this morning regarding the easing of corona restrictions.
"We are seeing a steep decline in the number of serious patients. This wave is breaking. Our strategy, of an open economy alongside fighting and carrying out many actions against the Corona, has brought Israel to be the number one country in growth in developed countries, and to an economic growth level we have not seen in 21 years."
"We were the first country to close its doors in Omicron, so it's time to also release gradually. As far as I'm concerned, we need to prepare for the lifting of the restrictions soon. An open economy and an open education system, without reaching insufficiency - these are the right balances," he said.
